Planning Ahead

Social media is such a pain in the neck - at least that’s what most of us say. What’s the part that sucks the most? Posting or remembering to post? Right, the remembering to post. It causes anxiety and stress and just another thing on your plate. That’s why I plan ahead.

As a social media marketing professional, planning ahead is my favorite part of the job — next to writing the copy, of course. It feels so great to have a plan in place so when I go to implement it, I have my thoughts already organized for the month ahead. Could I plan longer? Sure! Should I? That depends on the needs of the client.

Now, for you, yes, social media is a pain in the neck, right? It’s not your full time job so I completely understand that. It can take away from things that are equally as important in your business. So it comes down to this - are you willing to plan ahead for your social media or is it time to outsource?

If you’ve chosen to plan ahead, think about social media as part of your marketing puzzle. It is a way you can reach your audience on a more personal level without reaching too far. Whether it’s through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, or another platform, you can plan ahead. There are ways to schedule posts ahead of time on the platform itself or through a scheduling platform. You just have to find what works best for you.

If you need to outsource, find someone you can trust with your branding and your voice. This will be crucial to the way you’re portrayed in the digital space. Lucky for you, since you’re reading this, I will grant you a FREE Consultation and Audit when you create a custom package with me for the month of December.
