“ON SALE NOW" or “Black Friday isn’t over yet” or, my favorite, quoting a Christmas movie to get your point across.
When it comes to marketing around the holidays, especially on social media or through other forms of digital marketing, it can be difficult to get your message to your audience most effectively. Sure, there are some of the best deals around this Holiday season, but how are you standing out from the crowd?
Here are a few things you can do this Holiday season that will help you to stand out from the crowd:
Ask yourself - is what your offering relevant to the Holidays?
If yes, connect with your audience and show them how they can use your product best for now; If no, connect with your audience on a more personal level (talking about family, friends, get togethers, etc.)
Put yourself in the shoes of the consumer: would they find this enticing or annoying?
Less is ALWAYS more. Yes, it’s important to get in front of people, but you don’t need to inundate your audience every single day with a SALE SALE SALE. It makes it just that much less special when you actually have a sale.
Think about where the consumer mind is at during this time - bring them back down to earth with a friendly & warm greeting.
